After 25 years of deliberation and countless prototypes, I added a blog to the website. Or turned the website into a blog? Anyway, it’s here – web logs are the future!
Ages ago, I was halfway into writing a blog frontend to be called “wpned”, with the idea to use the comfortable Wordpress backend for editing but to serve everything with a home-made frontend that avoids the countless security vulnerabilities of the Wordpress code. Hence the title, which is a play on “Wordpress” and “pwned”. I found that very clever back then…
The idea of my own frontend code remained, but there is no database behind it, only static files and some PHP glue. Oh, and a custom editing and sync tool as a standalone Java Swing application, cause I’m oldschool like that! :)
