420 Years of Teletext
Teletext, let’s goooo!
Wild entry (alternative platforms) for Evoke 2022 where it won 2nd place. Runs on a Raspberry Pi connected to a Teletext-capable TV via composite video.
Watch it on YouTube and read some background info on the GitHub page!
Note:
Currently, there is no easy-to-run super-JAR (this is all written in kotlin), sorry.
Easiest way to run this for yourself would be to download IntelliJ IDEA community edition,
clone the GitHub project, let the auto-configure voodoo do its thing,
and rip everything out of the bin
directory. There is no strict
need to transfer everything to the Raspberry Pi, you can also send the Teletext
data via network (see the GitHub page for details).
